PRIVATE RESIDENCE
Chesapeake Bay Home
In an effort to create a panoramic view, this shingle style residence is sited on a peninsula and the first floor is steel framed to allow for a window wall overlooking the water. Gentle roof sweeps and eased shingle skirts, common to the Shingle Style aesthetic, help balance the weight of the repeating gambrel roofs while deep porches, a cascading trellis, and terraced landscaping help break up the scale of the residence.
